Well, I guess I decided to try out blogging! I see a lot of my friends on here and I like to read all the great updates of their daily lives!
Where to start.... Well, Billy and I have been married for 7 months today. It seems to be going by really fast! I just was looking back through pictures from my wedding and honeymoon and seemed like just yesterday! I moved back to Idaho Falls last week and am staying with my dad for right now. We are in the process of building our new house. It is out by Taylorview behind the neighborhood Southpoint. We are in a new sub division called Yorkside. We will be the 2nd house done in there. I will post some pictures of the progress over the summer. Right now we have a big hole with some cement around it!
Billy is plugging away at baseball. He is playing 1st base for the Kansas City Royals. He recently got sent to Triple A Omaha to work on some hitting but is doing really well and we expect him to be back up with the big league team in a week or so. It's hard to be so far away from each other but by the time October rolls around we get to spend every day together until the middle of Feb!
Like I said I moved back to Idaho Falls to help make decisions and keep an eye on our new house! I have missed being at home and I think I am going to hang around for a while. I applied for a front desk job at the Apple so hopefully I get it. I am also going to be coaching volleyball at Skyline this year! I am SO excited! I have spent the last two years coaching a Varsity team in Jacksonville, FL and a Freshmen team in Overland Park, KS. It has been so much fun and I am so excited to come back to Skyline and work with the great girls there! I will just make long weekend trips out to KC to visit Billy!
We have a new boxer puppy that we love SO much. Her name is Riley and she is 4 months old. I will post pictures of her soon! She is such a sweet puppy and it has been nice having her there when Billy is out of town!
If you haven't heard our big news yet Billy and I are going to be parents! I am 3 1/2 months pregnant! I am due December 15th. So, it has been a crazy 3 months! I found out the day before Billy's birthday on April 17th when we were in San Fransisco. My mom was there with us. So, I waited until the morning of his birthday and took him to breakfast. I gave him a gift bag with a bottle and pacifier and baby toys in it. The first card said "Happy Birthday Daddy"! It was so cute! He was very excited! I have had some serious Morning Sickness...I have lost 20lbs between my 1st and 2nd doctors visit. So, it hasn't been the most fun of all diets! I think being home in Idaho Falls has helped though. Being around family in a familiar place has made such a difference!
Well, I think that is enough of an update for now! I will keep posting and interesting things happen!
